At Work
Eric is a designer who untangles complexity, embraces constraints, and values trust
I'm drawn to complex systems where everything is interconnected and nothing is simple.
I believe I should understand the systems I'm shaping, so I taught myself to read API documentation and technical specifications. I don't just design and hand off; I design after fully considering whether a solution can actually be built, not just whether it looks right.
I believe the most rewarding results come from non-negotiable constraints. A firmware limitation became multi-sensory charging guidance. Apple's 10MB limit became the EV industry's first App Clips. A 4-month deadline with an AI-inexperienced team became Taiwan's first Gemini application.
I care for my teammates as much as my users. Great products come from teams that trust each other enough to be vulnerable, challenge ideas, and do their best work together.

RECHARGING MEANS MOVING to Him
Eric runs half marathons, hikes national parks, and rides skateboards.
Since 2024, I have run 2 half marathons, explored 7 US national parks, and hiked 30+ mountain trails. The exploration is still ongoing.
